One of the marvelous things that happen in the spring when the weather warms up, is the gathering of the local farmers behind Kings Yard. Saturday morning you can head downtown and find many of your friends and neighbors pecking around for some fresh produce or some local honey. There is a very cheerful and earthy atmosphere to the farmer’s market, which brings to my mind Arlo Guthrie’s song, “Alice’s Restaurant”.
