Yellow Springs and Spring Has Sprung (113)

We once had a train that went through Yellow Springs.  The train has long since stopped running and the track has been turned into our part of a wonderful bicycle path that runs from Springfield all the way down to Cincinnati. It meanders past the Glen Helen forest preserve and through farm fields and small towns in the most pleasant way.

Someone had the farsightedness to save the pieces of the train station when it was torn down and a friend refurbished it and put it back together. It is now the home of the Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce.

I like to imagine athletic-shoed ostriches, bicycle-riding elephants and my Giraffa Camelopardalus Roller Blaedus using the path.
